Start up the VPN on your device and go to https://apps.ch.cam.ac.uk/vpn/vpn-test to find out.
- If you are told "You are using an out of date VPN configuration file", please follow the instructions in the next section of this webpage.
- If you are told "You are not using an out of date VPN configuration file", you need take no further action
- If you are told "You are not on the Chemistry VPN", please make you sure are connected and reload the test webpage.
I need to update; what should I do?
Before updating, we recommend that you download the latest version of the OpenVPN software, because the new configuration file contains some options that do not work in old software versions. Pleaes follow the relevant instructions from the list below to both install the latest software and download an up-to-date configuration file.
