Hardware requirements for the Ubuntu image
- PC with x86-64 cpu
- 2GB RAM or more
- Network card
- At least 500GB local storage (NVME recommended).
- We recommend an Nvidia graphics card if you want to do visualisation work as we find the drivers are the most stable, but can install onto systems with other cards
- There are known issues with the nVidia G86 [Quadro NVS 290]
