User accounts

The user account data for the Ubuntu managed Linux workstation service comes from the Active Directory only. The passwords are Admitto passwords.

CRSIDs are used for account names wherever possible. It is always possible to get a CRSID for an academic visitor; just contact the Computer Officers.

To set passwords for an account use the Active Directory facilities.
