Our current effort aims to improve the quality and responsiveness of support given to the department as a whole through a combination of:
- Elimination of duplication in the way systems are configured. In other words streamlining and simplifying technical support activity
- Deliver a trouble ticket call handling system that will ensure that all support requests are progressed and tracked
- Deploy tools and documentation that simplify the support of IT infrastructure
- Development of standards to constrain the diversity of equipment being purchased, thus containing the growth support requirement
