Our current effort aims to improve the quality and responsiveness of support given to the department as a whole through a combination of:

  1. Elimination of duplication in the way systems are configured. In other words streamlining and simplifying technical support activity
  2. Deliver a trouble ticket call handling system that will ensure that all support requests are progressed and tracked
  3. Deploy tools and documentation that simplify the support of IT infrastructure
  4. Development of standards to constrain the diversity of equipment being purchased, thus containing the growth support requirement
