There have been a number of staff changes in the past few months. We welcome our new colleagues and thank all those who have left or retired for ther contributions to the department.

Starters

Dr Nita Martin – Programme Manager for the Faraday Institution-funded Battery Degradation Project. Sarah Briggs – Graduate Education Administrator. Sanja Serafimovic – Chief Accounts Clerk. Alex Crosara – Senior Chief Electronics/Electrical Workshop Technician. Shaun Impey – Trainee Mechanical Workshop Technician. Wojciech Cesarczyk – Cleaner (as from 1 August).  

Academic Appointments

Professor Matthew Gaunt – the Yusuf Hamied 1702 Chair of Chemistry. Dr Alex Forse – University Lecturer.

Promotions

Anna Dziwisz-Czarny, to Senior Cleaner; Filip Dziwisz, on Secondment to PAT Testing Technician.

Leavers

Slawomir Czarny; Manuel Wentscher; Mariliiana Alivonta (whose Secondment finished at the end of May); Alex Clarke (pictured at the Staff Summer Garden Party above with Jacqui Worster and Rachael Jefferies); Tanaka Mutsatsa.

Retirements

Keith Gray retired on 30th June.
