Could you help out at Graduate Open Day?

Graduate Open Day 2019 takes place on Friday 18th October 2019 - and the organisers would love some help.

They're looking for volunteers to assist with the Lab Tours, which are always a very popular part of the Open Day. Two Lab Tours sessions are currently planned, the first running from 13:15 to 14:15, the second from 16:00 to 17:00.

Graduate Education Administrator Sarah Briggs says: "Ideally, we'd like volunteers from each group / lab (if shared) who have some experience of the labs and the equipment used." Depending on time, prospective students will tour the labs and related facilities of academic staff including:

Physical: Dr Alex Archibald, Dr Stuart Clarke, Prof Stephen Elliott, Dr Stephen Jenkins, Prof Rod Jones, Dr James Keeler, Prof David Klenerman,  Dr Tuomas Knowles, Dr Steven Lee, Prof John Pyle,  Dr Anja Schmidt.

Materials: Prof Jonathan Nitschke,  Dr Sally Boss, Prof. Melinda Duer, Dr Alex Forse, Prof Clare Grey, Dr Erwin Reisner,  Prof. Oren Scherman,  Dr Silvia Vignolini, Dr Andrew Wheatley,  Dr Paul Wood,  Prof. Dominic Wright

Biological: Prof. Shankar Balasubramanian,  Dr Paul Barker, Dr Gonçalo Bernardes, Prof. Christopher Dobson, Dr Sophie Jackson,  Dr Janet Kumita, Dr Finian Leeper, Prof. Michele Vendruscolo

Synthesis: Prof. Matthew Gaunt, Prof Jonathan Goodman, Prof Chris Hunter, Dr Robert Phipps, Prof David Spring.

Theory: Prof Stuart Althorpe, Dr Andreas Bender, Dr Lucy Colwell, Dr Robert Jack, Dr Alexander Thom, Prof David Wales

Please let Sarah Briggs know if you could help.
