Yusuf Hamied Department of Chemistry

 

The department is delighted to announce that Dominic Wright, Robert Best, Tuomas Knowles and Daan Frenkel have won awards and prizes from the Royal Society of Chemistry.

   Professor Dominic Wright has receives the Main Group Chemistry Award.  This award recognises outstanding research in any aspect of the chemistry of the s and p block elements.  For more information about this award please see:

   Dr Robert Best receives the Marlow Award.  This is in recognition of the most meritorious contributions to physical chemistry or chemical physics.  For more information about this award please see:

   Dr Tuomas Knowles has won The Harrison-Meldola Memorial Prize.  These prizes are awarded for the most meritorious and promising original investigations in chemistry and published results of those investigations.  For more information about this award please see:

   Professor Daan Frenkel has been receives the Spiers Memorial Award.  This award is presented in recognition of an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to the field of a Faraday Discussion.  For more information about this award please see:
