Many staff members took part in Christmas Jumper Day on the 15th of December to raise donations for Save the Children.

In July Jo Lockhart swam 7.5 miles across Ullswater in the Lake District, raising over £1600 for Arthur Rank Hospice.

Forse group PhD student Chloe Balhatchet is positively promoting sustainability in the department - starting with recycling plastic gloves.

Pilates and wellbeing in the department

The Cambridge Queer in Chemistry Network

This network of LGBTQ+ members of the department is made up of staff and students who want to connect.
