Within this site you will find the online version of the Safety Handbook, various risk assessment forms and templates, and all information related to health and safety within the Department.
The Safety Team within the Department consists of the Departmental Safety Officer (DSO)/Health and Safety Manager Dr Margaret Glendenning, Room M17a, phone ext. 63936 and the Departmental Safety Technician (DST), Mr Stephen Sear, Room M17, phone ext. 36337. Safety notice boards are located in various sites around the Department:
1. in the main reception foyer at the west end of the building
2. outside the Safety Officer's office (M17a) on the west side of the building
