We’ll be taking part in the Cambridge Open Days for potential undergraduates on 4 and 5 July.

Cambridge Open Days are open to anybody interested in coming to Cambridge as an undergraduate, along with their parents or supporters. It’s an ideal way to find out more about courses, accommodation and generally what to expect from Cambridge life.

Meet students

Here in Chemistry we’ll be hosting poster sessions on both days from 1pm to 3:30pm, where prospective students will have a chance to meet and talk with PhD students and postdoctoral researchers to find out about what Chemistry has to offer. The sessions will be followed by a sample lecture by Professor Sally Boss in our Wolfson lecture theatre from 3:30pm – 4:15pm.

In the University of Cambridge, Chemistry is part of the Natural Sciences Tripos, so applicants do not apply directly to Chemistry. You can find out more about the Natural Sciences Tripos here.

Many activities

Alongside the July Open Days, the University will be running lots of Warm-Up Webinars, which cover topics such as applying to Cambridge, how to pick your College and financial support available during your studies.

If you’d like to visit Cambridge during the Open Days, you’ll need to register on the University website, which also has lots more information about what to expect.
