Today, we welcome (virtually) Dr. Grisell Diaz Leines, who has come from ICAMS at Ruhr University Bochum, Germany to start a research fellowship supported by the National Council of Science and Technology (CONACYT) in Mexico in our research group. During her fellowship, she plans to undertake a computational study of the mechanism of nucleation of ice on carbon substrates, using theoretical techniques such as atomistic simulation and enhanced sampling.
