The Department has received a Green Impact Bronze award, which is an environmental accreditation and awards scheme run by the National Union of Students
In order to qualify for 'Bronze', a department must fulfil 20 different criteria covering six main themes:
- communication, training andawareness-raising
- energy
- water
- procurement
- travel
- waste and resource management
