Okay, so we didn't have the glorious sunshine of last year. But that didn't stop the department summer party from going ahead.
We just decamped from the gardens of Downing to a room indoors when the heavens opened. The annual Chemistry Staff Garden Party is a thank you from the department to everyone who works here. It is always a popular event. This year, the weather did not cooperate, but we had fun anyway.
