The Department of Chemistry is delighted to announce that Professor Clare Grey has been awarded the Kavli Medal and Lecture 2011 for her pioneering work in the use of solid state NMR in the development of lithium-ion batteries.
The Kavli Medal and Lecture is awarded biennially (in odd years) for excellence in all fields of science and engineering relevant to the environment or energy.
The medal and lectureship are supported by the Kavli Foundation. Clare is the first recipient of this prize.
