When not working as assistant to Professor Shankar Balasubramanian, Jo Lockhart likes to swim.
She's currently in training for the European Open Water Masters Championships, and recently took part in the inaugural Broads Swimming UK 11.5k Marathon Swim.
Jo is chair of the Cambridge Triathlon Club. She also swims for Team Anglia Masters and will be representing them when she enters the European Masters Championships in Lake Bled, Slovenia in September.
She'll be hoping the weather is as glorious then as it was on Sunday 1st July when, in beautiful sunshine, she participated in the Broads Swimming UK event in the River Waveney in Beccles, Suffolk. The pictures above and right show her, with her swim float, at the start of the race.
