There are some dedicated compute clusters in the Department which are owned by research groups or sectors. Details are to be found on the Sector/Centre/Group web pages below. Access to these machines is usually by permission from the PI who bought the hardware.
- Theoretical Chemistry
- Centre for Molecular Informatics
- Surface Science
- Elliott Group
- Grey Group
- Hunter Group
Groups needing a single workstation or two to do development or run some small compute jobs on may want to look at the managed Linux and managed Windows workstation systems, particularly the list of available Linux software.
The University as a whole has a facility for much larger scale high performance computing which chemists can apply to use. Their webpages can be found at http://www.hpc.cam.ac.uk/.
