New Chemistry of Health Centre to become a reality
The Department of Chemistry’s plans for a new £22.8 million Chemistry of Health Centre have received the thumbs up from the UK Research Partnership Investment Fund (UKRPIF), who have approved the department’s full funding bid for £17.6 million.
As part of the University of Cambridge Science Festival in March, the Department of Chemistry will open its laboratories to the public on Saturday 14 March.
The Department is delighted to announce that Professor Chris Abell has been appointed to become Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Research. His appointment will start on 1st January 2016 and will be for a term of three years.
