Two new UK instruments flew on the NASA Global Hawk uninhabited research aircraft as part of the NERC CAST project led by Neil Harris in March. In a unique, 4 year collaboration, the instruments were part of a joint UK-US payload investigating the tropical cirrus in the global climate system and the emissions of greenhouse gases.
