The Department warmly congratulates Professor Rosana Collepardo-Guevara on her election as a 2026 Fellow of the American Physical Society (APS), a prestigious distinction conferred by the APS Division of Biological Physics.

This honorary recognition reflects the acknowledgment and esteem of her professional peers. Each year, no more than one-half of one percent of the Society’s membership is elected to the distinguished status of Fellow, making this a particularly significant achievement.

Reflecting on the honour, Rosana said:

“I am deeply honoured to be elected a Fellow of the American Physical Society. This recognition reflects the creativity, ambition and hard work of the past and present members of my research group, and of the collaborators I have been fortunate to work with over the years. Science is a team effort, and I am enormously grateful to all of them. My warm thanks also go to the mentors and colleagues who nominated and supported me.”

The Department is delighted to celebrate this well-deserved recognition.
