Dr Michelle Cain from the Department of Chemistry and other members of the Cambridge Centre for Climate Science will be speaking about climate science on Thursday 10 March from 6 - 7:30 pm, as part of the Cambridge Science Festival.
Ever wanted to know what 'globally averaged surface temperature' really means? Ever wondered about the difference between weather and climate?
Some of Cambridge's own climate scientists from a wide variety of specialisations will discuss a wide variety of climate science issues. Other speakers include Dr Tom Bracegirdle from the British Antarctic Survey and Dr Peter Hitchcock from the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics. Come learn about the science straight from the source.
The talk will be held on Thursday 10 March from 6 - 7:30 pm in the Wolfson Lecture Theatre of the Department of Chemistry, CB2 1EW.
The event, which is geared to age 15+, is free to members of the public, but must be booked.
