Bernardes Group researcher Dr Yanira Méndez Gómez has won the Otto Bayer Early Excellence in Science Award.
Yanira, who is a postdoctoral researcher and Marie Sklodowska-Curie fellow in Professor Gonçalo Bernardes' research group, received the award in the area of medicine, which recognises her research involving the modification of intracellular antibodies with improved internalizing, trafficking and targeting properties.
The award winners were celebrated in the Bayer Foundation’s 2022 Science Award ceremony on the 30th of January in Leverkusen, Germany.
