This month the Queer in Chemistry Network (QiCN) held a games night in the Cybercafé. We had over 40 staff and students join us to play boardgames and videogames, share a slice or three of pizza and have a drink in the early evening sun. It was a lovely event and reminded us why we feel QiCN is important: to provide spaces and events for LGBTQ+ people across the department to meet, network and relax together.

If you want to help organise future events, we meet every other Friday from 9 - 10 am in the Cybercafé. Upcoming dates are 6 June, 20 June, 4 and 18 July. All are welcome to both our events and organising committee: LGBTQ+ folks and allies, students, postgrads and research and non-research staff.
