Postdoc Dr Michael Gaultois was featured in the 28 October edition of the Cambridge News.
Dr Michael Gaultois is a Marie Curie International Fellow in the Department of Chemistry. Michael completed his PhD in Chemistry at the University of California in Santa Barbara, and joined the Grey Group in May 2015, where he conducts research into new materials that might be beneficial, in particular to prolonging the life of batteries. Michael says he is working hard to develop new ceramic materials to reduce the environmental impact of coal-fired power generation -- approximately 40 percent of the world’s power comes from coal, making this an issue of great relevance to society and the scientific
