The Chemistry Department will host a Call My Bluff wine tasting as part of the Cambridge University Alumni Festival on Friday 25th September.
Audience members will engage in a battle of wits with our three chemical experts:
- Who doesn’t know their flavonoids from their stilbenoids?
- Is that mass spec result really a cheeky chardonnay or Tesco’s finest?
- Only one expert can tell the truth – the other two will be bluffing!
Current Head of Department Professor Daan Frenkel, Head of Department-elect Professor John Pyle, and Dr Silvia Vignolini have agreed to host the event and be our experts for the afternoon.
The wine tasting will be held in the Cyber Café (note change of venue) on Friday, the 25th of September from 4 - 6 pm.
