Optoelectronic materials are fundamentally a subset of materials that interact with light. In this presentation, I will showcase some of my group’s recent work in the development of thermally activated delayed fluorescent and room temperature phosphorescent materials. I will demonstrate that depending on their properties, they can be used as emitters in organic light-emitting diodes, as bioimaging agents, as optical sensors, and as photocatalysts.
