Staff garden party June 2023 photo gallery

Beautiful weather, delicious food and fun watching the boats go by.

This year's staff garden party was held at Queens' College. The weather was not too hot and not too cool - in fact, it was a perfect temperature for staff to wander around the beautiful Erasmus Lawn at Queens', and perhaps find a comfy bean bag by the Cam to watch the chauffeured punts navigated by the pros as they tried to avoid the beginners who didn't know what to do! There were also plenty of tables and chairs in shady spots, and a delicious spread of sandwiches, scones with fruit and clotted cream, and other tea-time favourites. It was wonderful to feel that the staff garden party and other events are now becoming part of the regular rhythm of days in the department once again.
