On Wednesday 25th October, Dr Alexander Forse hosted a plant sale to raise donations for mental health charity CPSL Mind. The sale raised over £800.
People lined up in the corridor to donate to a good cause and buy a plant. All the plants for sale has been grown from cuttings or donated to the sale by members of the department. Over 70 plants were sold by the end of the day.
Alex comments: “The aims of the sale are to promote open discussion on mental health in the department, and to raise some money for CPSL Mind, a local mental health charity that does great work. Nurturing plants can be a great way to help your mental health!

The plant sale was hosted to help Cambridge, Peterborough and South Lincolnshire Mind, a mental health charity that provides advice and support for anybody experiencing mental health problems. They campaign for greater awareness and provide support services such as a national Infoline, local talking therapies and drop-in centres.
