Alex Forse held a plant sale on 7 October which has raised £649 for mental health charity Mind CPSL.
“The aim of the sale was to promote more open discussion on mental health in the department, and to raise some money for Mind CPSL, a local mental health charity that does great work,” says Alex.
Alex had a wide range of affordable plants on offer, many of which were propagated and donated by other members of the department including Sarah Beaton, Deborah Longbottom, Jo Lockhart, Sam Daly, Jessica McConnell, and Helen Jobson to name a few!
“I’d like to thank everybody who came to chat and buy some plants, and also huge thanks to those who supported the sale by donating such a beautiful range of plants and cuttings,” says Alex.
