Welcome baby Ellie!
On the 23d of September, Stephen Cox's wife Julie gave birth to their second daughter, Eleanor, at the Rosie Hospital. Baby Ellie will be well looked after by her older sister Abi, who is almost three.
Stephen, whose research centres on understanding and controlling the structure of materials at the atomic scale, was awarded a prestigious Royal Society University Research Fellowship earlier this year, and is now establishing a research group here in the department.
