CHRISTMAS 2024 Opening Hours

The Department of Chemistry will be closed from 6:30pm on Tuesday 24 December 2024 to 7:30am on Thursday 2 January 2025, during which time there will be no support staff in attendance except for Security.

Access to the Department

From 8am to 10pm:

26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31 December 2024 & 1 January 2025 – MIFARE ACCESS ONLY

From 10pm - 8am:

24, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31 December 2024 & 1 January 2025 – NO ACCESS

Overnight chemical reactions/experiments will not be permitted during the period 20/12/24 – 1/01/25 inclusive.

PLEASE NOTE THERE IS NO ACCESS AT ALL ON CHRISTMAS DAY 25 DECEMBER

We will return to normal working arrangements at 8am on Thursday 2 January 2025.
