CHRISTMAS 2023 Opening Hours

The Department of Chemistry will be closed from 6pm on Friday 22 December 2023 to 8am on Tuesday 2 January 2024, during which time there will be no support staff in attendance except for Security.

Access to the Department

From 8am to 10pm:

23, 24, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31 December 2023 & 1 January 2024 – MIFARE ACCESS ONLY

From 10pm - 8am:

22, 23, 24, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31 December 2023 & 1 January 2024 – NO ACCESS

Overnight chemical reactions/experiments will not be permitted during the period 22/12/23 – 2/01/24 inclusive.

PLEASE NOTE THERE IS NO ACCESS AT ALL ON CHRISTMAS DAY 25 DECEMBER

We will return to normal working arrangements at 8am on Tuesday 2 JANUARY 2024.
