Hydrogen Research: Virtual Seminars (HyViS)

As part of the UK NERC Hydrogen Environmental Impacts Programme, we will be organising a series of virtual seminars. The seminars will include contributions from both stakeholders and project members.

Topics covered in the HyViS series will include:

  • The future production and use of hydrogen in the energy sector
  • Changes in emissions of hydrogen and other species associated with hydrogen use
  • Understanding the current hydrogen budget (including the soil sink)
  • Changes in atmospheric composition as a result of hydrogen use
  • Environmental impacts of associated changes in anthropogenic emissions.

HyViS is targeted towards academia, policy, and industry, but anyone with an interest in the future role of hydrogen and its environmental impacts are welcome to attend.

We will be advertising upcoming seminars via our Twitter account, and they are completely free-of-charge. If you're interested in attending one of our seminars, or have any questions about HyViS, please contact us at HyViS.seminars@gmail.com.
