Collaboration and Impact

Professor Tuomas Knowles, founder of Fluidic Analytics

Fluidic Analytics

Professor Tuomas Knowles and his research group have developed a new technology for protein analysis that uses microfluidic diffusional sizing to accurately determine the size and concentration of native proteins. Knowles has commercialised this technology in Fluidic Analytics, which markets the platform to a wide range of end-users, including clinicians, the biotech and pharma industries, as well as academics.  The technology has broad applications in many laboratory settings, and can be used to better understand the roles of protein assembly and/or function in health and disease.

The company continues to provide cutting edge technology, changing the way that protein analysis is conducted in industrial, academic and clinical settings, and generating commercial and economic impacts as well as impacts in healthcare.
