The department is taking part in the first University of Cambridge Postgraduate Open Day on 2 November.

The University of Cambridge Graduate Admissions Office is hosting an extensive and engaging programme of activities across the University, to showcase postgraduate study and student life in Cambridge, including information on funding, accommodation, disability resources and much more.

The department will be represented from 10 – 12 pm at the Pitt Building by our Graduate Student Advisor Dr Rachel MacDonald, who will provide information on how to pursue a postgraduate degree in Chemistry.

In the afternoon from 2:15 – 3 pm, Head of Graduate Education Dr Deborah Longbottom will give an overview of graduate training and research in Chemistry, held in the Department of Chemistry.

Throughout the Postgraduate Open Day, attendees will have the opportunity to meet current students to discuss their experiences.  They will also have the chance to visit the Colleges and find out more about life as a postgraduate student.

Although aimed at students who are considering applying in September 2017 for entry in October 2018, the day is also open to students applying for entry in 2017.

Please register for tickets in advance.
