A Symposium celebrating the research career of Professor Jeremy Sanders will be held in the Chemistry Department on 4th September.

Jeremy has been at the forefront of developing dynamic covalent chemistry and the closely related dynamic combinatorial chemistry.  He is highly regarded for his innovative applications of NMR spectroscopy in organic and biological chemistry.  


He has been Head of the Department of Chemistry, Head of the School of Physical Sciences, and most recently Pro Vice-Chancellor for Institutional Affairs for the University of Cambridge.   He is a Fellow of the Royal Society and was appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire in the 2014 Birthday Honours for services to scientific research.


The Hunter Group will be hosting the Symposium, which will be held in the Department on Friday the 4th of September from 10am - 6 pm.  All are welcome, but please RSVP to the Hunter Group for numbers.
