Oren Scherman has won the 2014 Bob Hay lectureship, awarded by the Royal Society of Chemistry’s Macrocycles and Supramolecular Chemistry group.

Oren will be giving his lecture at the RSC's annual Macrocyclic and Supramolecular Chemistry meeting in December, which is being held this year in Norwich.

The Bob Hay award lecture is given in memory of Professor Bob Hay, one of the pioneers of macrocyclic chemistry in the UK. This prestigious lecture is given annually by a younger chemist working in the area of macrocyclic and/or supramolecular chemistry in its widest sense. The winner presents the Bob Hay lecture at this MASC14 conference.

More information about the Bob Hay Lectureship, as well as a list of previous winners, can be seen on the MASC 2014 website.
