Waters’ Xevo G2-S bench top QTOF, designed for identification and confirmation of the broadest range of compounds in complex and challenging samples, is used for studying proteins and their complexes. The instrument incorporates the newest technologies in the area of ion optics for increased sensitivity. “StepWave” ion-transfer optics increases the efficiency of ion transfer and at the same time eliminates neutral contaminants. The universal ion source architecture allows both electrospray ionization (ESI) and nanoelectrospray ionisation to be applied.
