CAS Prizes and Studentships

Thanks to the membership of the Scheme, we are able to present various prizes and awards.

Junior Faculty Teaching Awards

Through the generosity of the Corporate Associates scheme the Teaching Committee is now able to award up to two Junior Faculty Teaching Awards per year in recognition of those who have made an outstanding contribution to the undergraduate teaching program. Each award is valued at £250.

The first two such awards have been made to Dr Martin Smith and Dr Paul Griffiths.

Both Martin and Paul have made outstanding contributions not only through their lectures, but also through their willingness to be involved in all aspects of the teaching program. In addition, they have both been fully involved in College teaching activities. The Teaching Committee are delighted to be able to make the first awards to two such outstanding members of the department.
