Dr. Weixuan Zeng received his Ph.D. from Wuhan University in 2018. Then he joined Dr. Hugo Bronstein's research group in University of Cambridge as a postdoctoral research associate in 2019. Later, in April 2020, he was awarded 'Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowship'. His research interests are centered broadly on the molecular design and synthesis of innovative, functional materials for applications in organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) and organic photovoltaics. The focus of his current research is on new materials undergo singlet fission for photovoltaics, understanding the relationship between molecular structure and optoelectronic properties, and developing device architectures that optimize optoelectronic performance.
