Dr Arun Tanpure

Arun Tanpure obtained his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in chemistry in 2005 and 2007, respectively, from the University of Pune, India. After completion of the M.Sc., he worked as a research associate at the Zydus Research Center, Ahmedabad, India, for two years. Subsequently, he joined the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Pune, in 2010 and completed his Ph.D. degree in November 2015 under the supervision of Dr. S. G. Srivatsan. Currently he is a Postdoctoral research associate in the Balasubramanian group and his research interest is RNA epigenetics.
