Lunch Forum

PDAC was established to support and promote netwoking among the postdoctoral community working at the Department of Chemistry, both within their own disciplines and across university. PDAC Lunch Forum is a place where postdocs can meet and discuss relevant issues. In October 2017, Career Progression was the selected subject.

PDAC members were delighted to invited all department postdocs to come and get to know us better at our quarterly Lunch Forum. About 12 members of the postdoctoral community attended the event, which was a great opportunity to catch up with colleagues and meet new ones, and to interact with PDAC members in an informal setting. This time, we invited Liz Simmonds from the Career Centre to talk about Career Progression and Opportunities. 

PDAC is a group of volunteer postdocs who represent the postdoctoral community in the department.  We are always open to any concerns or views raised by other postdocs, and we work to represent their interests and to strengthen relationships in our research community.   Here are a few images of the event:
