Step Challenge feedback

The April 2021 Team Step Challenge was a first for the Chemistry Department, being part of its WellChem activities intended to keep members of the department connected and supported. 48 members of staff and Phd students took part in 12 teams with a variety of entertaining and quirky team names. Each team kept a record of their daily steps, whether walking, running, climbing stairs or jogging on the spot whilst washing up! Each week the team submitted their totals and the leader board (below) was updated to reflect the current leading team on a weekly (generally!) basis. Along the way some teams took photos to show where they amounted their steps or indeed where they rested inbetween walks - note the Fitzbillies chelsea buns on the ppt slideshow below!

Certificates of participation were emailed to each team member including a fifth non-stepping individual who managed the winning team.

Anecdotal feedback showed how popular the challenge was and the online survey here highlights this: Feedback survey results.

The final results of the April Team Step Challenge Leader Board are below. Congratulations to team Turning Beakers into Sneakers.
