Kosuke is a second-year Ph.D. student at the Tokyo Institute of Technology (Tokyo Tech), Japan.
He received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in protein chemistry under the supervision of Prof. Takafumi Ueno at Tokyo Tech, where he mainly worked on the design of protein self-assembly.
He joined the Melville group as a student visitor to combine his expertise on protein assemblies with cellulose nanocrystals (CNCs) and develop protein-CNC hybrid materials.
