Current Postgraduate Students


Thank you again for being patient with the recent Covid-19 related changes to University operations and procedures. We fully understand that this is and will continue to be a time of great uncertainty. Understandably, this may be causing some level of anxiety around how this affects your studies and what measures are in place to support you.

As the UK is lifting its nationwide restrictions, the Department will be moving towards returning to normal operations as much as possible following Government guidelines. If you have any queries regarding your studies and the current situation, please do not hesitate to get in touch with the Postgraduate Education Team. Unfortunately, we cannot give you all the answers that you need, as the situation is constantly changing. As we follow Government and University guidance on how to navigate through the pandemic, rest assured that we will do all that we can to support you through the remainder of your course.

The Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education have also produced Advice on Doctoral Standards for Research Students and Supervisors, in response to students' concerns about the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on carrying out research and completing their studies on time.
