Cambridge Centre for Molecular Recognition

The funding for the CCMR is now complete, and these pages will not be updated (2002)

The Cambridge Centre for Molecular Recognition (CCMR) consists of a collection of like-minded people working in the Biomolecular Sciences at the interface of Biology and Chemistry, and drawn from the Departments of Biochemistry, Chemistry, Plant Sciences and Pharmacology, and the Institute of Biotechnology. The Centre is currently funded by the BBSRC/EPSRC through the Biomolecular Sciences Committee. It derives its core funding in the form of a 4-year rolling grant, through competitive renewal.

Instrumentation in the CCMR funded by the Research Councils is complemented by a significant contribution from the Wellcome Trust for related work, and by many items acquired through other routes (eg special equipment grants, departmental contributions) and shared through general goodwill.

Some facilities may be available to non-members of the centre. Enquiries about possible access to, and prices for, individual Facilities and Instrumentation may be directed to those listed as responsible for them.
