The Wright Group's research interests are firmly focused on Inorganic Synthesis/Materials Chemistry. Within this however, these interests span a number of areas of main group and transition metal chemistry, including macrocyclic main group compounds, main group metal mediated bond-forming reactions, the molecular and supramolecular chemistry of metal cycopentadienide compounds, and molecular single-source materials for the deposition of metallic and metal oxide films.
