400 MHz DPX-400 Dual Spectrometer - 'svl400' - Room B12

There are two spectrometers in Room B12 that belong to Professor S.V. Ley and are used by his research group.  The NMR Service takes responsibility for Nitrogen and Helium fills, as well as day to day maintenance and troubleshooting on behalf of the Ley group.  The 400 MHz DPX-400 instrument has a dual probe and runs IconNMR in a semi-automated mode with experiment selection from menus in the software.  In common with our other Ultrashield magnets, the stray field is minimised and enables this spectrometer to be positioned in the same room as the unshielded 600 MHz magnet.
