This system is an automated service set up to provide an “open access” UPLCMS service utilising electrospray (ESI) ionisation. The mobile phases are 95% aqueous acetonitrile with 0.05% formic acid and 10mM ammonium acetate with 0.1% formic acid. The separation technology is based on a 2.1 x 50 mm C18 column (currently a Waters Acquity UPLC BEH C18 (1.7µm)). There are several methods available enabling the user to produce mass spectra for compounds up to 2kDa in positive and negative modes of ionisation. Samples submitted to this system should be filtered. Minimal user interaction is required.
